If you are interested in applying for a position on the RHA Executive Board please take into consideration the following information. This outlines the goals and duties of each position as it pertains to the constitution, and the procedures for the election process.

Campaigning Begins:

To apply you must complete the above application form.  It is highly recommended that you attend one of the information sessions also listed above where you will have the opportunity to ask any questions pertaining to the positions available as well as the election process itself.

General Assembly & Information Sessions

Applicants are highly encouraged to attend one of the three General Assembly meetings prior to the required Question and Answer session on Thursday, April 27th at 9am.

Applicants must attend one of two mandatory candidate guidelines meetings. These meetings will be Tuesday, April 18th in the Montgomery Lounge, and on Monday, April 24th in the Ondine Lobby.

Results are In! 

All candidates will be informed of the results by Friday, May 5th via email notification. Once that has taken place, results will be posted on this website, Facebook, and Twitter.

Transition Retreat, Move-in, Fall Training, and Viking Days 

We will be holding a transition retreat during the month of May.  If you win the election, it is expected that you are in attendance at that transition retreat.  If you have questions or concerns about that please email rha@pdx.edu.

All newly elected Executive Board members must attend fall training which requires that you move back to campus early on Wednesday, September 6th and be in training from Friday, September 8th through Sunday, September 24th. This training period will teach you about University Housing & Residence Life, Residence Hall Association, National Residence Hall Honorary, Hall Councils, positions, programming, funding, and many other things.  We will cover the cost for you to move in early and provide meals during this training.  If you have any questions about this please email the RHA Advisor, Russell Jones, at rtj@pdx.edu.
