This 31-day walking challenge is open to the entire PSU community for free. Check back here for registration instructions, which will likely be available sometime in mid-September. Log the minutes/steps you spend walking, earn incentives, meet others through weekly guided walks, get outside and be active!

Winter 2016

Healthy U Wellness Challenge

January 11 – Feb 14  *Registration opens January 4

Improve your health and wellness in five weeks. Individual and team categories available. Earn and log points in three categories: healthy habits, exercise, and event participation. 


Open to the entire PSU community. (Free to members. Non-members receive a 6 visit pass to the Rec Center with $10 registration). Improve your health, earn incentives, meet new people and have fun! Visit for more information.

Project Happiness

January 11 – Feb 14

Start off the new year with a dedication to improving your happiness and being more authentically you! 
Project Happiness is a four- to five-week series aimed at deepening your own happiness and helping you improve the happiness of others. Topics may include gratitude, self-acceptance, mindfulness and kindness.

Nourish Wellness Fair

Wednesday, May 11 12-2 p.m.

Attend PSU's annual Nourish Wellness Fair to learn more about on campus and off campus wellness resources. Receive free massage, acupuncture, healthy food samples, gait analysis, body composition testing, fitness screens, farmers market produce and more! Free to all PSU students, faculty, staff and Rec Center members.

Student Health 101

PSU offers a free online subscription to Student Health 101 for students!


Student Health 101 is a monthly health and wellness magazine just for college students. Each issue contains valuable information that will help you make better decisions while in college, and can help you with a better understanding of the health and wellness challenges that face today’s students.


Each month, you’ll receive an e-mail with the latest issue. Please take a few minutes to read the issues each month, you'll be sure to find this a valuable resource to keeping yourself healthy while getting through the academic year.
