PSU Chamber Choir: World Choral Exposition Preview Concert

Join the PSU Chamber Choir in the exquisite acoustics of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church for a preview of their upcoming appearance at the 2022 World Choral Exposition. Hosted in Portugal, this year’s exposition is a celebration of the 40th anniversary of the creation of the International Federation for Choral Music. As one of 12 headline choirs, and the only American choir invited to perform, the Chamber Choir will present three programs: choral music by prominent living American composers including Morten Lauridsen, Caroline Shaw and Benedict Sheehan; the greatest concert arrangements of African-American Spirituals; and choral music by the Choir’s own current members and alumni.
