Chris was born in Washington D.C., but grew up in Georgia. He attended Georgia Southern University for undergrad, and as a freshman began working in their outdoor program. He spent some time in Colorado and North Carolina before starting grad school at Georgia College & State University. After graduation he bolted to the beach for the summer working for Charleston County Parks and Rec. He then moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and spent four years running the outdoor program for LSU. As a newcomer to the Pacific Northwest he is excited to get out and climb, paddle, and explore as much as he can whether that's in his new role as the Assistant Coordinator of the ODP or on his own.
