Spring 2015 Schedule 


CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Helathcare Provider
This course is designed for the rescuer who has a duty to respond. Includes recognizing and caring for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, infants and children: two-rescuer CPR; use of resuscitation mask, bag valve mask and Automated External Defibrillator.

Standard First Aid
This course teaches the skills of First Aid and Accident Prevention. Learn how to recognize and respond to injury or sudden illness, control bleeding, care for muscle, bone, and joint injuries as well as treatment for burns.

Certified Pool and Spa Operator
This course is designed to teach participants how to manage and operate public swimming pools and spas. This is a national certification from the National Swimming Pool Founation. Please note that the course is math intensive. At no point will participants be getting in the water. Participants should bring: pen/pencil, paper, highlighter, scratch paper, a calculator and lunch/lunch money.

Lifeguard Instructor Course
This course teaching participants how to teach the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Course. Which includes: Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, BBP and Oxygen Administration. Participants must be able to pass the LG, CPR and First Aid written exams and demostrate all required skills in order to participate in theis course.

Winter 2015 Schedule



    Open Rec Swim (Half Pool) 
    At this time, half of the pool will be available for free swim. Toys and other equipment are provided to use.

    Thursdays | 9:30 pm – 10:30 pm
    Fridays | 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
    Saturdays | 12:00 pm – 7:30 pm
    Sunday | 2:00 pm – 5:30 pm

    Open Rec Swim (Full Pool)
    At this time, the whole pool will be available for free swim. Water polo, water basketball and other recreation activities will be available for use.

    Tuesdays | 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
    Thursdays | 8:30 pm – 9:30 pm
    Sundays | 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

    SWIM X 

    Interested in improving your swimming technique & endurance?  Want to be a part of a community of other passionate swimmers? Swim X is a free program for individuals who want to take their swim workouts to the next level. Average swim distance is two miles per workout. A trained and experienced coach will be at each practice to facilitate the workout and to provide helpful and insightful feedback on your strokes and techniques.  All abilities are welcome and encouraged to join!

    T/Th | 7:00 am – 8:00 am


    Visit the Schedules & Events page for the full Aquatics schedule, including lap swim time. Lap swim is a dedicated time for members to use the pool to swim laps or aqua jog. There are times when lap swim coincides with another program and that program takes priority. However, there will always be at least 3 laps available for lap swimming during those programmed times. A priority lane is available during scheduled lap swim times for persons needing accommodations. Please let the lifeguard on duty know if you are going to utilize the priority lane to ensure it is clear.
