Project Status: Complete

The goal of this project was to give institutions tools to (re)evaluate our administrative and/or student success and hold policies to improve student success and to better use our data in policy formation. We participated in a community of practice over the course of 15 months and received support from WICHE and AACRAO as we went through the exercise of collecting, cleaning, and analyzing administrative hold data and revising policies based on those findings. 

Accomplished 

  • Final report can be found here.
  • Completed project including both the data analysis and the final report to WICHE. 
  • Created a report to identify students with potential holds. 
  • Collaborated with campus partners and leveraged the Progression team to proactively support students to take action so as to reduce the number of students with registration holds. 

In Progress

  • Continue to internally evaluate the data for key takeaways or unintended impacts and assess potential changes.
  • We have identified critical areas in the data to further explore with an eye toward making changes to improve the student experience.
