The Noon Concert Series is a weekly opportunity to experience the sounds of the PSU School of Music & Theater. Join us on Thursdays during fall, winter, and spring terms for a diverse program of concerts featuring students, faculty, and special guests. 

The general public is welcome in Lincoln Hall to watch the series live. You'll also be able to watch each concert on PSU's YouTube channel with the links below, but students enrolled in MUS188 are required to attend in person.

October 3 - Fall Convocation

An informational program will introduce new faculty, present important information, and provide the opportunity to make music together.

October 10 - Joe Manis Quartet

Saxophonist Joe Manis and drummer Charlie Doggett perform in a unique jazz instrumentation with keyboardists George Colligan, organ and Keith Brown, piano.

October 17 - Nanyi Quiang

This program features a kaleidoscope of piano music selected from marginalized cultures and the mainstream including Chinese, French, Russian, African American, and others.

October 24 - Trumpet Metamorphosis

Experience a journey of transformation as the trumpet takes center stage through a collection of works that evolve and reshape tradition.

October 31 - Yelling Choir

Yelling Choir is a femme, women, and nonbinary performance process, created by Maxx Katz, that reimagines voice, presence, gender, and power.

November 7 - Dae Bryant: The Collective

Inspired by the dynamic interplay of space, time, language, and Black American Music, Dae has gathered "The Collective," an Afrocentric group of artists who boldly push the boundaries of space-time, exploring new frontiers through the innovative spirit of jazz and the wisdom of African ancestors.

November 14 - George Colligan featuring Zyanna

Portland State University Jazz faculty George Colligan will perform a concert featuring Zyanna.

November 21 - Songs and Dances: Marsh and Titterington Piano Duo

Pianists Connie Titterington and Lisa Marsh celebrate over 20 years of performing together with this exciting concert. Join us for works by Samuel Barber, Astor Piazzolla,  Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, and the Marsh-Titterington Piano Duo.
