The Noon Concert Series is a weekly opportunity to experience the sounds of the PSU School of Music & Theater. Join us on Thursdays during fall, winter, and spring terms for a diverse program of concerts featuring students, faculty, and special guests. 

The general public is welcome in Lincoln Hall to watch the series live. You'll also be able to watch each concert on PSU's YouTube channel with the links below, but students enrolled in MUS188 are required to attend in person.

PSU faculty, Dr. Chuck Dillard (piano) and Dr. Sean Fredenburg (saxophone) are joined by University of Idaho's Dr. Javier Rodriguez (bassoon) for a performance of two works composed by Don Freund and Cindi Hsu.

Called “contemporary chamber trailblazers” by the Boston Globe, Hub New Music is a “nimble quartet of winds and strings” (NPR) forging new paths in 21st-century repertoire.

Saxophonist Joe Manis and drummer Charlie Doggett perform in a unique jazz instrumentation with two of the most exciting keyboardists anywhere: George Colligan, organ and Keith Brown, piano.

The PSU Chamber Choir presents selections from their upcoming concert From the Dust. Music by Samuel Barber, Eriks Esenvalds, Katerina Gimon, and Valts Puce as well as the West-Coast premiere of Dust, the first musical collaboration between PSU's two choral faculty.

Ad for Women - Life - Freedom: defiance through art by Iranian women Noon Concert

November 2 - Women - Life - Freedom: defiance through art by Iranian women

This concert features works by Iranian and Iranian-American women, and the artwork of PSU Art and Design Faculty Taravat Talepasand, in support of the efforts of Iranian women and artists who courageously express themselves in defiance of oppression at risk to their own lives.

A unique concert where classical, world, and contemporary music collide in a mesmerizing blend of talent and culture. Featuring Dave Eggar (cello), Martin Zarzar (guitar), and Mario Díaz (guitar).

November 16 - PSU Steinway Piano Series: Inna Faliks, guest piano recital

Inna Faliks, Ukrainian-born American pianist and professor at UCLA, performs a program entitled "Reimagine: Beethoven and Ravel." This event is jointly presented by the Noon Concert Series and PSU Steinway Piano Series.
