The Maseeh Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (MSURE) is open to all Maseeh undergraduate students researching over the summer (there is no enrollment criteria).  While each student conducts independent research with their faculty mentor through their respective intern and/or research programs, MSURE creates a supportive peer community through shared learning experiences and networking opportunities. The cohort meets weekly for Lunch & Learns and other programming designed to enhance research skills, build professional competencies, and foster connections among the next generation of researchers across engineering and computer science disciplines.

By uniting these talented undergraduate researchers from diverse backgrounds and academic stages, MSURE transforms individual research experiences into a collaborative summer journey, creating lasting relationships and a network of peers who understand the unique challenges and rewards of undergraduate research.

Lunch & Learns

Lunch & Learns are exclusive learning opportunities for MSURE cohorts, held every Wednesday from 12-1pm throughout the summer. These sessions feature diverse formats including formal presentations, roundtable discussions, and Q&A sessions, often followed by visits to faculty research labs. This summer's series covers essential topics ranging from research skills and career development to graduate school applications and academic writing. These not-to-be-missed sessions provide invaluable opportunities to connect with faculty members and fellow cohort members in an intimate setting, building both academic skills and professional relationships that extend beyond the summer program.
