Bridge Program to an MS in ECE
Postbac students who are interested in skipping a second bachelors and going directly into the ECE masters program should review the bridge program page's information and start by filling out the questionnaire linked on that page. Students are usually able to complete a Master of Science degree in approximately the same time that would normally be required to complete a second bachelors degree. Bridge students with bachelors degrees in diverse fields such as physics, biology, philosophy, international studies, graphic arts, math, English, and performing arts have successfully completed our program.
Students who already have a bachelors in electrical or computer engineering but with a GPA too low for direct admission into the ECE MS program also have an option for graduate school admission. If they attain a B or better in at least three graduate-level ECE courses with an overall graduate GPA of at least 3.0, they will be eligible to apply to our MS program.
