Professional Administrator License curriculum (27 credits)

The program requires the completion of the following courses and the associated clinical experiences. Formal admission to the Professional Administrator License program cohort is required before registering for any of these courses.

Licensure

Candidates seeking recommendation from PSU for the Professional Administrator License must:

  • Possess a master’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Have a current Oregon Preliminary Administrator/Principal License
  • Have been admitted to and completed the Professional Administrator License program at Portland State University. For instructions on applying for recommendation to TSPC, visit the College of Education Licensure Office.
  • Have completed a minimum of 3 years full-time or 6 years part-time appropriately assigned administrative experience in Oregon while holding the Preliminary Administrator/Principal License
