Equity and Anti-Racism

Quick Facts

The MA/MS in Curriculum and Instruction at Portland State University is grounded in social justice research and encourages students to reflect on their own professional path. The Equity and Anti-Racism specialization is intended to give teachers the tools and opportunities to reflect on their racial identity and their identities’ influence on their work in the educational system. The course work of the Equity and Anti-Racism focus helps educators to create a more just and equitable school system. We offer a variety of professional development to fit the needs of individual teachers and to give them a choice and guidance in their professional development on equity and anti-racism in schools.
