Spring presented

 

  1. Kate Comer, English faculty, presented “Eco/logical Activism: Hashtags as Community Education” and co-presented “Unruly But Useful: A Self-Analysis of the DALN as Critical Archive” at the Computers and Writing Conference in Greenville, North Carolina on May 20. 
  2. David Percy, geology faculty, presented his new work, “Enhancing Oregon’s Geologic Map with Machine Learning” at the regional GIS in Action conference in Portland on April 19th. 
  3. Sean Schumacher, Art + Design faculty, presented “The Most Sensational, Inspirational, Celebrational, Muppetational: Collaboration via Showcraft as a Foundational Practice in Graphic Design Education” at the 2022 University and College Designers Association Design Education Summit on May 24 in Johnson City, Tennessee.
  4. Marvin Washington, business faculty, gave research talks at the University of Victoria on March 22 and Oregon State University on April 8 about his project, “Logic Work: Creation and Maintenance of the Amateur Logic of the NCAA.”
