Andries Deinum Prize for Visionaries and Provocateurs
The Andries Deinum Prize for Visionaries and Provocateurs was created to recognize and celebrate the exceptional creative potential of an undergraduate or graduate student (or students in collaboration) enrolled in the College of the Arts. It is awarded annually in the amount is $10,000.

Arlene Schnitzer Visual Arts Prize
The Arlene Schnitzer Visual Arts Prizes were created with a gift from the Harold & Arlene Schnitzer CARE Foundation. Three prizes ranging from $3000-$5,500 are awarded annually. Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the School of Art + Design are eligible.
Mary Ausplund Tooze Scholar Travel Award Endowment
The Mary Ausplund Tooze Scholar Travel Award encourages travel needed to engage in field study and research in Ancient and Islamic Art.

Robert and Normandie Holmes Endowed Travel Fellowship
The Robert and Normandie Holmes Endowed Travel Fellowship grants up to $1,500 annually to an art history major for travel anywhere outside of the Portland area related to the study of art and art history.
Art History Term Paper Prizes
Made possible by the kind contributions of emerita faculty Jane Kristof and Lisa Andrus-Rivera, excellence in research and writing is rewarded with small cash prizes to students who produce outstanding art history term papers or class projects.

Catherine Kumlin & Robert Gamblin Art Practice Study Abroad Scholarship
The Catherine Kumlin & Robert Gamblin Endowed Art Practice Study Abroad Scholarship benefits an undergraduate or graduate Art Practice student who wants to participate in a PSU School of Art + Design study abroad program. It is awarded annually in the amount of $2000.
