Oxana Ake is a couture fashion designer and textile artist based in Portland, Oregon. Originally from Samarkand, Uzbekistan, she draws inspiration from her heritage and nature to create one-of-a-kind garments and textiles. Through upcycling, hand-dyeing, embroidery, and innovative stitching techniques, Oxana transforms threads, scraps, and vintage fabrics into wearable art. She has showcased her collections on multiple runways, including FashioNXT. She teaches the craft of sewing, embroidery, and design—passing on the stories and traditions of textile art to the next generation.
