Program Completion

Instructions for Early Intervention Special Education Added Endorsement

Step 1 - Complete program requirements

  • Take 21 credits of required coursework
  • Pass the Praxis Special Education: Early Childhood/Early Intervention
  • Complete supervised 90-hour practicum

Instructions for Early Intervention Special Education Preliminary Licensure

Step 1 - Complete program requirements

  • Complete required coursework credits (these will vary from 55 to 64 credits; you and the program coordinator will have determined the required credits based on which program option you complete.)
  • Pass the Praxis Special Education: Early Childhood/Early Intervention
  • Complete two supervised 100-hour practica and 400 hours student teaching for a total of 600 hours
