Miller Foundation awarded PSU a $25 million, multi-year investment which used sustainability as a lens for transforming PSU. Climate Action The Portland Climate Action Collaborative was a partnership between ISS and the City of Portland's Bureau of Planning and Sustainability to advance goals outlined in the Portland and Multnomah County Climate Action Plan BREATHE Oregon This program, which ran from 2017 to 2019, focused on utilizing research and community engagement to address local concerns related to air pollution in the Portland Metro region. Sustainable Neighborhoods From 2013 to 2017, the Sustainable Neighborhood Initiative connected PSU students with neighborhood-scale sustainability initiatives through special courses and student internships. USA The Urban Sustainability Accelerator helped cities implement sustainability projects with a unique model of year-long assistance provided by sustainability experts. Previous Next
