The USGS-PSU Partnership (UPP) is an innovative joint program between the U.S. Geological Survey’s Oregon Water Science Center and PSU. The UPP facilitates water science advancements in Oregon by promoting collaborative research, creating student opportunities and sharing resources.

Our work in environmental and climate justice addresses the disproportionate impacts of climate change on marginalized communities, advocating for equitable policies and sustainable solutions that prioritize the health and well-being of all people. 

The Institute for Sustainable Solution’s Clean Industry initiative seeks to reduce carbon emissions in Portland’s industrial sector while creating opportunities for Portland State students and tangible community benefits.
