Education: MA in School Counseling from George Fox University (2015), BS in Human Services and BA in Psychology from Oregon State University (2007)

Experience: Prior to joining the partnership in July 2015 Joanna worked for Child Welfare for over seven years in CPS, Permanency, Screening, and Supervision. Prior to Child Welfare Joanna worked in a residential treatment facility for adolescents. During her graduate program Joanna gained experience in internships as a school counselor and high school student teacher.

Teaching/Training Areas: Protective Services, Screening, Mandatory Reporting, Trauma Informed Practice Strategies, Child Interviewing, Cultural Considerations, Confirming Safe Environments, Child Welfare and Schools, and Child Development

Interests: Joanna enjoys exploring Oregon with her husband and son. This includes kayaking, visiting the zoo and aquarium, spending time in Central Oregon, and camping.
