MSW Portland Option

Overview

The Portland Option offers a Two-Year, Three-Year, and Four-Year program.

The Two-Year program consists of three classes each term (Fall, Winter and Spring) plus a 16-hour-per-week field placement. With this course of study, we encourage you to limit outside employment to part-time.

The Three-Year program requires two classes each term (Fall, Winter and Spring) in the first year of the program, followed by two years of two classes each term and a field placement 16 hours a week.

The Four-Year program consists of two classes per term (Fall, Winter and Spring) in the first year of the program and two or three classes per term in the fourth year. Students take one class per term during the second and third years of the program and a field placement 16 hours a week.
