Born and raised in Oregon, Laura Gurley (she/her) has been with PSU since 2009. She is a registered nurse (RN) and the Clinical Nurse Manager at the Center for Student Health & Counseling (SHAC).
Laura’s path to healthcare began at the University of Oregon, where she earned a degree in International Studies and Spanish. Her experience working with midwives in Washington inspired her to pursue nursing, leading her to OHSU for her BSN. Before returning to Oregon, Laura honed her skills as a Medical Surgical RN at the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.
In her free time, you can find Laura rock climbing, gardening, or simply reading a good book.
