Open to freshman and sophomore Electrical or Computer Engineering majors, this summer research internship pays $6,000 for eight weeks of full-time research and pairs students with a ECE faculty member for academic mentorship. Generous ECE alums Frankwell Lin and Ken Li provided funding to support this student research experience.

  • Be an admitted PSU student with a declared ECE major, who hasn't yet taken 300-level ECE courses. (If you'll be taking ECE 300-level courses in Fall, you're eligible)
  • Students taking more than 4 credits in the Summer term are not eligible.
  • You'll need to commit to at least one on-site day per week to meet with your internship advisor

We strongly encourage first-generation students and those historically underrepresented in electrical and computer engineering to apply.
