Annie Spencer Scholarship (Undergraduate and Graduate)

The Annie Spencer Scholarship is for both full- and part-time students attending PSU. A specific goal of the Annie Spencer Scholarship is to enrich the University's learning environment by attracting and recognizing outstanding students from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Eligibility requirements: Applicants will be asked to provide current documentation (within the last 3 years) of a diagnosed disability by a qualified professional. Documentation will be verified through the Disability Resource Center and will be considered confidential. Recipients must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States. Graduating high school seniors and others with less than 30 college credits must have a high school GPA of at least 2.75; students with 30 or more college credits must have a cumulative college GPA of at least 2.50. All applicants must meet regular admissions requirements. Priority is given to Oregon residents with high financial need.

Apply for the Annie Spencer Scholarship as part of the online P.S.U. Undergraduate or Graduate Scholarship Application. The application opens in October and is due by February 1 each year. 

Diversity Enrichment Scholarship (Undergraduate Students)

The purpose of the Diversity Enrichment Scholarship is to expand and enrich Portland State's learning community by recognizing and supporting outstanding students from first-generation and various cultural, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds, with diverse talents, interests, and life experiences.

Oregon Grants and Funding

There are many other scholarship opportunities for PSU students. You can go to PSU's Financial Aid and Scholarships webpages for more information.

• Oregon Tribal Student Grant. The Oregon Tribal Student Grant program was established to provide grants to eligible Oregon tribal students to offset the cost of attendance for attending eligible Oregon colleges and universities.
• The Oregon Opportunity Grant is a need-based grant program for prospective students.
• Oregon Chafee Education and Training Grant helps current or former foster care youth with postsecondary education and training.
• Oregon National Guard State Tuition Assistance provides funding for undergraduate tuition at in-state residency rates, certain fees, and a book allowance at eligible Oregon post-secondary institutions for current Oregon National Guard Members.
• The Oregon Student Aid Application (ORSAA) is an alternative to the FAFSA for undocumented Oregon students, including students who have Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status or Temporary Protected Status (TPS).
