DRC Temporary Relocation information

Beginning August 14th, The DRC will be relocating to the University Center Building at 527 SW Hall Street, Room 400 for the duration of Fall and Winter terms 2025. This is to ensure the safety of our staff and students, as SMSU will be without HVAC services (heating and cooling) for that period of time.

Our temporary office can be most quickly accessed via the entrance to UCB on Hall St. (SHAC Dental Services door). An Accessible entrance is located on the opposite side of the building, on Harrison St. (across from the Tri Met stop). While the accessible entrance on Harrison requires PSU ID to unlock, the Hall street entrance and elevator are open to the public.

UCB is served by Trimet at the Hall and 5th St. stop by lines 1, 8, 12 and FX2, and at the Harrison and 5th St. stop by lines 9, 17, 19 and C-TRAN lines 105 and 164.

Section of a map of Portland State University campus. A red line moves southwest for half a block from the Broadway entrance of Smith Memorial Student Union, then turns left to continue southeast for one and half blocks, to the Harrison street entrance of University Center Building. Text overlaid in the top-left corner reads "We're just a block away!" Text overlaid on UCB indicates the Accessible Entrance of the building on Harrison, and another Entrance on Hall.
