Sean J Patrick Carney (b. 1982, Traverse City, Michigan) is a visual artist, writer, composer, and researcher in Portland, Oregon. He is a recipient of the Warhol Arts Writers Grant and his essays, criticism, and interviews have appeared in numerous publications, including Aperture, frieze, High Country News, Artforum, Southwest Contemporary, Art in America, and Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists. His podcast Time Zero documents the aesthetics of the nuclearized world.
