Maseeh College Internships

The Undergraduate Research and Mentoring Program funds undergraduate research for Maseeh College students in a variety of disciplines. Students work closely with a faculty mentor, conduct research, and complete a research project. 

The Multiple Engineering Cooperative Program is a highly competitive five-year undergraduate program that includes two six-month paid internships.

Engineering Work Experience is a structured internship program for undergraduate students in Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE), Mechanical Engineering (MME) and Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE).

The PSU/PDX Cooperative Education Program is a two year cooperative educational program in which Computer Science students work at one of our local PCEP Partner companies in a series of defined internship roles, while concurrently taking courses on-campus at PSU.

This summer research internship is open to freshmen and sophomore Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) students. Generous ECE alumni, Frankwell Lin and Ken Li, provide funding to support this summer research opportunity.

ECE graduate students with a GPA higher than 3.0 and international students after three full-time terms are eligible for paid industry internships. These internships, offering 1–5 credits of Curricular Practical Training (CPT) via ECE 504, must be related to your field of study and involve graduate-level design work.

The LSAMP Internship Program is a 9-month, cohort-based initiative that connects students with paid, hands-on experiences in the field. Designed to provide early career exposure, the program supports students in applying their STEM knowledge or developing technical skills through placements with local community and industry partners.

The DISC Program is a one-year program during the academic year (October to June). DISC Interns will receive a paid internship with DISC’s industry partners in the Portland metro area (9 months; 10-12 hrs/wk), professional development (30 hours), and mentoring (peer, faculty, and industry, mentors).
