Jobs & Internships
Students at Maseeh College enjoy many opportunities to participate in internships or other cooperative work experience programs available in the greater Portland metropolitan area. Maseeh College graduates are in demand in part because of their experience in real-world engineering and computer science gained through internships, capstones, and direct work experience.
The video above is but one example of the collaborative and collegial nature of Portland's thriving tech scene. Many of the companies featured also participate in the Computer Science department's PCEP internship program. Portland is also home to major players in the semiconductor and manufacturing industries and is a recognized leader in sustainability, transportation and urban engineering.

MECOP & CECOP
The Multiple Engineering Cooperative Program (MECOP) and Civil Engineering Coooperative Program (CECOP) are highly competive five-year undergraduate programs that include two six-month paid internships. This hands-on experience allows students to immediately apply what they are learning in class to give them a competitive edge when they graduate. MECOP/CECOP students are often sought after by the companies with which they interned during the program, and are able to be immediate contributors in the workplace.
Interested students should apply at the end of their sophomore year. Applications are generally accepted between March 1 and April 10. Admission to the program is competitive.
MECOP is available to students in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. CECOP is an identical program for Civil Engineering Students
