Program Status: Discovery

Portland State University has launched a comprehensive, university-wide Student Communications Review in partnership with Carnegie. This initiative is designed to strengthen student success, strengthen operational effectiveness and alignment, and implement recommendations for strategic institutional student-facing communications. This project will address communication through the undergraduate student lifecycle at PSU, from their first year through graduation.
 

Accomplished

  • Vendor reviewed Supplemental Discovery Materials and Initial Emerging Themes and Recommendations that VPSS and the Project Team are providing feedback on
  • Vendor created a Discovery Scorecard that is continuing to inform Emerging Themes and Recommendations
  • Created a Campus Personnel List that informed initial virtual interviews, contributing to discovery and Emerging Themes and Recommendations
  • Campus Visit is scheduled for January 13 and 14, 2026. Campus Stakeholders and Student Focus groups are actively being identified for interviews and/or to receive updated from the vendor.
