Student Lifecycle Communications

Program Status: Discovery

Portland State University has launched a comprehensive, university-wide Student Communications Review in partnership with Carnegie. This initiative is designed to strengthen student success, strengthen operational effectiveness and alignment, and implement recommendations for strategic institutional student-facing communications. This project will address communication through the undergraduate student lifecycle at PSU, from their first year through graduation.

Vendor reviewed Supplemental Discovery Materials and Initial Emerging Themes and Recommendations that VPSS and the Project Team are providing feedback on
Vendor created a Discovery Scorecard that is continuing to inform Emerging Themes and Recommendations
Created a Campus Personnel List that informed initial virtual interviews, contributing to discovery and Emerging Themes and Recommendations
Campus Visit is scheduled for January 13 and 14, 2026. Campus Stakeholders and Student Focus groups are actively being identified for interviews and/or to receive updated from the vendor.
