The SSW Strategic Planning Committee held a day-long planning session with Coraggio Group on Thursday, July 21, 2022. At this meeting we accomplished the following:
- We made edits to and voted on approving the vision, mission, values and position statements.
- We reviewed, edited and condensed our imperatives, objectives, and initiatives.
Our next step in this process is to present the rest of the School of Social Work with our results so by the first SSW All School Meeting of Fall Term (on Friday, September 16, 2022) you can provide further feedback.
Following that meeting we will work with Coraggio Group on Implementation Planning by prioritizing our initiatives and creating an action plan. This will be followed by quarterly implementation coaching with Coraggio.

Our public web page lives on the School of Social Work’s site about the strategic planning process. It includes:
- Updates on the committee's progress
- Access to planning resources
- A list of all the committee members
- A timeline for the remainder of the process
