Lisa (she/her) was born and raised on the east coast of Florida where she enjoyed watching alligators, manatees, and frequent rocket launches in her backyard.   Lisa transferred from Auburn University then graduated with her Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Syracuse University, and has a Master's of Public Health from SUNY Albany, and graduated with her Master's of Social Work from Colorado State University.

She joined SHAC in 2006 and is the Coordinator for Social Work Training, as well as a member of the Queer and Trans Clinical Team and the JEDI Committee (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion). She loves working with college students and enjoys a focus on deepening relationships, and working with trauma survivors.
For fun, Lisa can be found hanging out with her two giant Maine Coon cats, traveling, van camping, mushroom foraging, gardening, and cooking.
