Facilities & Construction Safety Committee

The Facilities & Construction Safety Committee is a voluntary group of employees representing various PSU departments responsible for maintenance and construction activities. These include: EHS; Plumbing; Electrical; Heating, Ventillation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC); Carpentry; Systems; and Capital Projects.

Facilites & Construction Saftey Committee Members

This safety committee meets once a month, focusing on the hazards associated with the various trades work represented on the committee. Committee representatives are expected to communicate outcomes and information from the committee to their coworkers. Equally important is the responsiblity of committee representatives to communicate safety concerns of their groups to EHS and the committee so they can be addressed. The committee also provides regular updates and refers campus-wide safety issues to the University Safety Committee.
