Topic: "What is Docs as Code and What Do Technical Writers Need to Know?"

Docs-as-code is an approach to technical documentation where documentation is treated with the same tools, processes, and philosophies used for managing software source code. This method is popular with developers and engineers, as they can contribute to documentation in the source files using tools they are already familiar with such as Notepad++ for editing and GitHub for source control.

Guest Speaker: Ben Moore

Ben Moore spent 25 years at Intel working on documentation projects in hardware and software. In 2024, he took a voluntary severance to find his next adventure. He now works for the California Community Colleges Technology Center helping colleges connect students to resources and opportunities through documentation for software created by the Technology Center.
