Students: Using Student Learning & Licensure

Student Learning & Licensure (SL&L) is the College of Education’s platform for managing student assessments, clinical experiences, placements, internships, and other program activities. This page provides information to help you access and navigate SL&L, complete the activities associated with your role, and find tutorials and support when you need them.

Getting Started

How do I log into SL&L?

Students can use your PSU account to log in to SL&L by going to sll.pdx.edu.

SL&L Tools

In-Progress

In-Progress is where you will access your assignments and clinical experiences. If you have an activity that needs your attention, check In-Progress to access and complete it.

Timeline

Timeline provides a place for you to document events and activities. Course assessments and clinical experiences are automatically added to your Timeline. You may also be asked to add events to your Timeline.

ePortfolio

ePortfolio is used by specific programs as part of their program requirements. If your program uses ePortfolio, your program will provide information about how to use it.

User Settings

User Settings allow you to manage your account settings. You can upload an image of yourself if you wish.

Notifications

In the upper-right corner of SL&L, you will see a bell icon. Notifications provide reminders about recent placements and activities that need to be completed.

Completing Assignments

If you have an assignment that requires a submission through SL&L, you will access it through In-Progress.

After submitting an activity, you can verify that your submission has been successfully submitted.

Documenting Clinical Experiences and Internships

SL&L may be used to document activities associated with your clinical experience or internship.

Adding Events to Your Timeline

The Timeline provides a place to document events related to your program activities.

Submitting Time Logs

If you are required to document your hours in SL&L, you can submit your time log entries through the platform.
