The 2025 session of Imagine College will take place July 15th - July 19th.
Imagine College, part of PSU's Access and Success Initiatives and sponsored by a capacity-building grant from the Oregon Community Foundation’s Black Student Success Initiative, is a pre-college program dedicated to supporting students on their journey to, through, and beyond college. Imagine College’s primary objective is to inspire, educate, and empower underserved and aspiring first-generation college students who have an interest in pursuing higher education. By demystifying the college process, providing access to a range of resources and guidance, engaging in critical thinking, and place-based experiences, Imagine College aims to empower participants with the tools they need to thrive in college and beyond.
Whether you are a rising sophomore or junior with a curiosity about college, think college is not for you, or want to go to college but don’t quite know how to make it happen, Imagine College is tailor-made for you. Our mission is to guide you in cultivating or refining your college aspirations while assisting you in navigating the intricate college access journey. We are also very committed to bolstering your social, emotional, and academic capacity, fostering a positive cultural identity, and equipping you with a well-rounded foundation for success.
You will leave the Imagine College program with lifelong friends, a better understanding of yourself and your community, and greater clarity about how to reach, and be successful in, college.
