Oregon Resident Opportunity Scholarship

The Oregon Resident Opportunity Scholarship is a school-funded, need and merit based grant for resident, freshman students. 

The annual scholarship amount ranges from $300 - $5,616. The level of the award varies depending on final high school GPA, Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) as determined by the FAFSA, other types of aid a student is expected to receive and the student's annual cost of attendance. This scholarship may be renewed for up to 4 consecutive, academic years from the student's original fall term admission. Annual limits apply and this scholarship is not available during summer term.

Eligibility

  • Current resident of Oregon
  • Admissible to PSU as a freshman student
  • Submit the FAFSA by February 1
  • Eligible to receive a federal Pell grant as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Have 2.5 cumulative, unweighted final high school GPA
  • Enroll full time (12-15 credits per term) in fall term
  • Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress and meet all registration deadlines
