Liz joined PSU in 2019. As the Assistant Director of Campus Planning, she specializes in long-range planning, improving PSU's public and student spaces through collaborative placemaking, and maintaining the campus' maps. She is passionate about working at the intersection of urban planning, social equity, and environmental sustainability. Prior to joining PSU, Liz earned her Master's Degree in City and Regional Planning from Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo and worked as a City Planner in San Luis Obispo, CA and New Orleans, LA and then for Tulane University’s Office of Sustainability. She is also an accredited LEED-Green Associate. When she's not working, Liz enjoys cooking and growing her own veggies, catching as much live music as possible, and exploring the incredible natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest by hiking, camping, kayaking, and cycling.
