The Summer Scholars Program is a FREE two-course program held three weeks in the summer, September 3rd - September 19th. Students earn up to four credits for free for completion of this program.
There are multiple opportunities for staff to get involved with Summer Scholars. You can apply to be an Instructor or Peer Mentor.
I learned new study skills, how to take notes, and where to find the help I needed. I have never been one to take notes and study because I never knew how. I learned how to do that while in this program.

Instructors
Program Duration: September 3rd - September 19th. Classes take place 9:30 - 3:30 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
Mandatory Training: August 19th - August 30th 9AM-3PM (hours subject to change)

We are looking for instructors for UNST 194: Academic Skills, UNST 199: Exploring ___ @ PSU in various topics and the 1 credit Workshop in Fall.

Peer Mentors
Program Duration: September 3rd - September 19th
Mandatory Training: August 19th - August 30th
We are looking for:
Tier 1 will be conducting more weekend events - roughly 20 hours per week paid, plus room and board.
Tier 2 will help with classwork and some programming outside the classroom - roughly 10 hours per week paid, plus lunch Tuesday through Thursday.
