OPB's "Think Out Loud" interviewed Portland State University professor Roberto Orellana about his research showing that Latinos in Oregon are five times more likely to get COVID-19 than the white population. In response, he started a program to train bilingual college students to become contact tracers. OPB also spoke with Gabby Perez Winder, one of the students in the program.
