MSW Advanced Standing – Portland

 

Overview

Students enroll in 7–13 credits per term (summer, fall, winter, spring) during a four term course of study. Students complete a 16-hour-a-week field placement during fall, winter, and spring terms.

Concentrations

Students have a choice of two advanced concentrations: (1) Advanced Macro Practice, or (2) Advanced Clinical Practice.

Students in the Clinical concentration are required to take SW 555 SW Persp. Mental Health Disorders with Adults OR SW 554 SW Persp. Mental Health Disorders with Children and Adolescents.

All students are required to take a minimum of one advanced research elective.
