The Office of Research Development offers regular trainings to help faculty hone and/or build their grant-seeking competitiveness including:

  • Regular Research Development Office Hours (via Zoom)
  • Thematically focused 1 hour professional development workshops (past topics have included engaging with Foundation Relations, Growing Industry Partnerships, and navigating broader impacts changes for early career faculty)
  • Cohort-based bootcamps for early career faculty and/or established faculty looking to grow their grant-seeking skills through a 12 week immersion program. A new fall cohort application cycle will open soon, so please stay tuned!

The Graduate School offers programming to enhance faculty and postdoctoral researcher mentoring skills including:

  • The Mentoring Academy offers evidence-based training for mentors of research trainees across disciplines. Mentoring Academy workshops apply to those training undergraduates and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty.
