Catalyst Institute: Propel Your Research Forward

The Office of Research and Graduate Studies offers a variety of professional development opportunities to support faculty as mentors, grantseekers and researchers.

The Catalyst Institute

The Office of Research and Graduate Studies is pleased to announce the launch of the Catalyst Institute, a new initiative designed to significantly grow our research and grant-seeking expertise by prioritizing and investing in our faculty. Through the Institute, faculty will have access to professional development programs, services and events that will provide  them with the tools, support and resources they need  to grow their research capacity. By providing a cohesive, structured, and comprehensive suite of programs, the Catalyst Institute directly addresses the 2030 RGS Roadmap’s call to expand professional development services, empowering our faculty to secure external funding and lead groundbreaking projects that fuel innovation and societal impact.

Catalyst Immersive is a faculty development and mentoring program designed to boost grant-seeking success. Through the 12-weeks structured program, support from peer writing teams, and extended one-on-one coaching from experienced, grant-successful faculty, participants will gain the skills and support to turn their research ideas into competitive, review-ready proposals.

This program is ideal for for early career faculty and/or established faculty looking to grow their grant-seeking skills.

We host thematically focused professional development workshops that often build upon our Catalyst Intensive training program. While Catalyst Fellows will have priority registration access, these events are open to all faculty and will focus on advanced topics that build grant seeking skills.  Stay tuned here, or subscribe to our calendar below to learn about upcoming events!
