Virtual Group X Classes

Spring Schedule: March 29 - June 11

Campus Rec offers a variety of live virtual and in-person Group X classes through Zoom for PSU students, faculty, and staff. A pdx.edu email is required to securely access the Zoom classes. A limited number of in-person classes are available to Campus Rec members with a facility reservation and GroupEx Pro pre-registration. Visit the Group X webpage for details.

The virtual Group X schedule is available on the Google interactive calendar below. A selection of recorded virtual classes is available on our YouTube channel.

How to Join Virtual Group X

  1. Scroll through the interactive Google calendar below to find the class you wish to attend
  2. Click on the class name
  3. Click the Zoom link within the class description
  4. Sign-in via SSO (single sign-on authentication). The domain is pdx.zoom.us.
  5. Sign in with your odin username and password
  6. Participate in class with your camera on or off 

Virtual Group Training 

Spring Schedule: April 12 - May 30, 2021

Campus Rec personal trainers are offering seven weeks of free virtual group training programs from April 12 through May 30, 2021. Training programs are free and open to the entire PSU community; no Campus Rec membership required.

Receive guidance from certified personal trainers and learn at-home workouts that don’t require any equipment. Participation includes a seven-week progressive training program with written and video workouts to be performed on your own 2-4 days per week.

  • Couch to 5K
  • 10K Running Guide
  • Goal Cafe

Imagine human foosball without the poles! Small goals, no goalies, face masks, and players restricted to their zone to maintain physical distancing. Create a team or register as a free agent and be placed on a team with other free agents. This is a great way to be active and meet new people in a safe and fun environment. Registration deadline & pre-trip meeting: Wednesday, 5/5 at 6 p.m. Difficulty level: Moderate Explore the beautiful, forested hills just west of the PSU campus on this 7.5-mile hike. Explore the International Rose Test Garden, which is home to over 10,000 beautifully manicured plants. Further along the trail, discover  thousands of native, global, and endangered tree species at Hoyt Arboretum. Spring in Portland is one of the best times to learn about trees and wander through nature, taking in the beauty of the sweet-smelling blossoms that so many of our fruit trees grow this time of year.
