Three Centuries on Four Strings

Friday March 6th 2026 7:30 PM - 8:50 PM

Tomás Cotik presents a program centered on Spanish and Hispanic traditions for solo violin and violin with piano, highlighting the violin’s dialogue with Spanish guitar idioms through music by Albéniz, Tárrega, Falla, and Sarasate, alongside the Argentine voices of Piazzolla and Ennio Bolognini. Works drawn from Cotik’s previous recordings appear alongside repertoire connected to an upcoming Spanish-focused recording project, presented here as a free public recital made possible by a grant from the Regional Arts & Culture Council and the Office of Arts & Culture.
