As of July 2024, the History Department at PSU proudly serves as the editorial home for WASM's production.  This five-year project involves the editorship of Professor Patricia Schechter (PhD Princeton, 1993) and a team of historians who together put out a fresh issue of WASM twice a year (fall and spring).  Erica Hayden, Professor of History at Trevecca University and Michelle Moravec of Rosemont College serve as book review editor and public history editor, respectively.

The WASM editorship also offers exciting opportunities for graduate students in the History MA program.  Each year, two students serve as graduate assistants.  The Graduate Assistantship covers tuition and provides a monthly stipend for the academic year.  GAs engage in a number of exciting editorial tasks to publish each issue.  They do copyediting, manage permissions, engage in outreach and promotion through social media, identify books for review by WASM, and more.
