  1. Diana Abu-Jaber, English faculty, published a novel, “Fencing With the King,” a tale of Middle Eastern suspense and adventure.
  2. Jola Ajibade, geography faculty, was a contributing author on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Sixth Assessment Report, “Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability: The Working Group II. Chapter 16: Key Risks Across Sectors and Regions.” 
  3. Anita Bright, education faculty, and Jesse Hendryx-Dobson and Shani Johnson, graduate students, published “Contending with Word Choices in Cross-Cultural Teacher Preparation Contexts: Reflections of Power and Positionality in “Handbook of Research on Social Justice and Equity in Education.”
  4. Heejun Chang and David Banis, geography faculty, and Grisha Post, graduate student, published a paper titled “The Spatial Relationship Between Patterns Of Disappeared Streams And Residential Development In Portland, Oregon, USA” in Journal of Maps. 
  5. Alberto McKelligan Hernández, Art + Design faculty, wrote an essay titled, “Women Artists and the Construction of Mexicanidad” for Portal, the Portland Art Museum’s magazine.
  6. Douglas Wilson, anthropology faculty, Kaitlyn Hosken, graduate student, and Amy Clearman ’09 MS ’20 and graduate student, wrote a chapter titled “Decolonizing Fort Vancouver Through Archaeological Interpretation” published in Creating Participatory Dialogue in Archaeological and Cultural Heritage Interpretation: Multinational Perspectives.
