Undergraduate Advising

At PSU, both academic advisors and faculty advisors can help you on your journey toward graduation.

  • Academic or pathway advisors can help you understand your graduation requirements and create a degree plan, access financial tools and resources, and more. You are required to meet with your academic advisor at New Student Orientation, during your first year, when declaring your major, and before applying to graduate.
  • Faculty advisors are experts in your major field and know what specific courses will be best for you as you prepare for specific graduate programs and careers.
