ASA is a student-run, student-led group focusing on topics of anthropology and archaeology. We aim to hold events, lead field trips, and get students involved in the world of anthropology to improve and enhance our education here at Portland State.
AESS hosts a weekly seminar event and ad hoc events throughout the year (e.g., grad school info night, career week events, the spring research colloquium). Weekly seminar events include research talks, workshops, social hours with faculty, and presentations from outside organizations.
PSU’s student chapter of the Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists (AEG) provides learning and professional networking opportunities for students focused on applied geology that prepares them to become practicing geologists.
CoRiBa unites students in curiosity and interest in geosciences, while encouraging equity and inclusiveness in STEM as a whole. CORIBA shares all aspects of geology with students through the appreciation of rocks, minerals, geologic processes, and the encouragement to get outside and experience geology.
The GIS Club is open to all PSU community members who are interested in GIS. The GIS Club hosts events that are open to the public, including socials, speaker series, workshops and career panels, and works to collaborate with other local GIS groups.
