Bio: Hanna Kane (they/she) has a B.A. in History and Disability Studies from the University of Washington, and is currently pursuing their Masters' of Social Work at PSU. Their professional background centers in activist spaces, with experience in youth mental health, disability justice, civic engagement, and queer/trans organizing. Hanna's interests include lesbian history, activism within higher education, and therapeutic practices with gender diverse young adults. Hanna looks forward to connecting to other disabled students through her work at the DRC, and is excited to learn with and from the students they mentor. Outside of work and school, she enjoys fiber arts (especially crochet!) as well as poetry and spending time with her cats and partner.

Sararosa Davies

Sararosa Davies (she/her) is a MSW candidate at Portland State. She received her undergraduate degree in journalism at the University of Oregon in 2020. Her storytelling there focused on disability justice, healthcare and their relationship to arts and culture topics. After graduating, she worked as a podcast producer for Tight Lipped, a community organizing project centered on chronic pelvic pain, and served as a producer at OffScrip Health, a podcast network created by and for chronic illness patients. Sararosa looks forward to working with other disabled students at the DRC as they navigate higher education. Outside of work, she enjoys road biking, watching prestige TV with her dog, Wheeler, and sewing.
