Changing Lives, Changing Communities
2014 will mark the 50th anniversary of the MSW program. The first class entered in 1962 with 12 students. With more than 5,000 graduates since that time, the School of Social Work is making a difference all over the world!
Home for the School of Social Work is the Academic Student Recreation Center, located in the heart of PSU's campus in the Urban Plaza.
Our curriculum includes degrees in Child and Family Studies, Bachelor of Social Work, Master of Social Work programs, and doctoral studies. Our school is among the top schools in the nation, and we provide the only Masters and PhD of Social Work Programs in Oregon. That means it is our responsibility to meet the education, research, and training needs of the state and region.
