2014 Design Fair
On Thursday, June 5th from 2-3 p.m. in the EB Atrium, MME's Freshman and Seniors will show you what they've been up to this spring.
The Mechanical and Materials Engineering Department provides a strong educational experience by exposing students to state-of-the-art techniques and to good practices. Our undergraduate program is accredited by ABET and focused on Mechanical Engineering design. Our graduate programs in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Engineering engage students in solving the problems faced by industry and government in the Portland Metropolitan area, the state of Oregon, and southwest Washington.

Bachelors + Masters Pathway

MME is happy to announce the Bachelors + Masters Pathway.  Through the Pathways program, admitted BSME students are able to take 15 credits of ME elective coursework at the graduate level (500 or 600) and apply it to both their BSME and one of MME's graduate programs.  Find out more about the Pathway!


Undergraduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering

The MME Department offers a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME). This four year, undergraduate major prepares students for entry-level positions in mechanical engineering. Graduate Degree Programs

Students interested in advanced training can pursue the MENG, MSME, MSMSE, and Ph.D., degrees at the graduate level.
