Campus Safety Committee

EHS supports OR-OSHA requirements for employers to establish and administer a safety committee to communicate and evaluate safety and health issues by maintaining active member representation and providing administrative support to the Campus Safety Committee (CSC).

Facilities and Construction Safety Committee

EHS oversees the voluntary Facilities and Construction Safety Committee (FCSC), which focuses on various trades work and other maintenance and construction activities.

Chemical Hygiene Committee

The Chemical Hygiene Committee (CHC) oversees the Chemical Hygiene Plan, that lays out laboratory work practices, policies, and procedures intended to minimize hazardous chemical exposure to students, staff and faculty. The CHC makes recommendations, guidelines and policies in regards to lab safety on campus.
